We like to think we're pretty #DTE (down to earth) here at 3X Partners, we don't take ourselves too seriously. We laugh a lot too.

BUT (a very big but), don't mistake our friendliness for weakness. Which brings me to my next point, the Dos and *Donts to consider when applying for this role.
*Disclaimer: Just in case you think there's a hint of elitism going on here...I just spent a few weeks unintentionally wasting peoples' time by not being specific. So I'll try my best NOT to make the same mistake twice & be a bit more pointed ;-)

Let's start with the Donts shall we?

DO NOT apply for this role if:
  1. You're looking for a role/career in HR. This is not HR, people (see Key things you'll be doing in the role below)
  2. You're still crying over your last bf/gf that dumped you 6 mo's ago. Rejection, whether it's giving or receiving, is something we deal with every.single.day.
  3. You can't book your own dentist appointment. Look, I get it, I don't like the dentist either, but if you can't pick up the phone to call the dentist, how are you gonna be able to call candidates + potential clients each minute, hour, day, week, month, year? You think that's funny? I'm not laughing.
Now for the Dos.

DO apply for this role if, and ONLY IF:
  1. You have 1-2 years+ experience in a B2B sales driven / KPI environment - I will ask for specifics, you've been warned. If you're aware or experienced in '**sophisticated selling', 'insight selling', 'challenger sale' concepts etc, damn we need to chat [insert name]!
  2. You're available to start by Tuesday 11th June (some flex)
  3. You're looking for a $55-65k salary (flex) + comms ($1-2k p/mth) - $70-85K pkg OTE. When you move into a 360 / consultant role (3mths in), expect $100-200K OTE. Won't happen overnight though.
  4. You laugh. A lot. Laughing is a mandatory skill; you must have it.
  5. If you require visa sponsorship, you must have 1) a University Degree and 2 years relevant / commercial work experience &/or 2) 5 years relevant / commercial work experience & arguably most important, 3) a cool accent.

Key things you'll be doing in the role:
  1. Phone, skype & Face to face ''pitching & screening'' of candidates - Key word, "pitching" aka. Selling aka Problem Solving.
  2. Join client meetings to understand our unique requirement capture method - Arguably, sales (you gotta know what you're selling right?). Show off your advisory / consulting skills here too.
  3. Creating brilliant, stand out job ads or emails that get noticed - Marketing… which leads to… you guessed it, sales. More problem solving. No?
  4. Create marketing campaigns that attracts top talent &/or mine our CRM - See above.
  5. Create marketing campaigns to engage new clients &/or pull the ''oil out the well'' ermm, I mean CRM - See above.
  6. BD (calls, meetings) - $ revenue generation if you're game &/or experienced - Nuff said.
  7. Developing your own client base. OR just piggyback the MD's network. He's a 20-year vet with bags of energy that'll make you feel dizzy at first - Dad jokes a plenty too, but who doesn't love a dad joke?
  8. Training | Training | and more Training - Gotta sharpen the axe, right?
  9. Proactive approach to finding / maintaining a pipeline of candidates/clients - Filling your sales pipeline, der.
  10. Marketing projects | Events & PR | Herding Cats - You know, the usual stuff.
WHY we're HIRING?
We are about to launch a new line of business (underpinned by a bleeding digital platform) that will change the dynamic of our operations and it's time to get the right help involved.

3X Partners has remained purposely lean and nimble however that's about to change as we reposition our firms offering and bring new products & services to the market.

We want you to OWN the candidate side of recruiting (initially) to free up the *Founder so he can concentrate 'on' transforming the business into a 'talent advisory firm'. We also want you to take over his accounts and develop new ones (12 -14 weeks in is the goal).
